Campaign in development!

MineDusty

This mod aims to add more life into the game (literally!). Adding trees, shrubs, plants, and new environments to explore! The new luscious planet will feature a unique campaign against the Crux faction for a war to monopolize the precious resources!

Campaign

There is much more than just plants which you may find. The campaign will feature a diverse set of sectors to attack and defend in! New mechanics will be introduced! There are also plans underway for factions aside the Crux determined to oppose your journey of the campaign.

Development

Showcases will be shown in the Mindustry discord's Modding forums. Latest changes and development will be exclusively featured in the forum.

This mod uses a modified version of Glenn's template

Visit the (Fairly outdated) Trello board to see goals and planned features!

Compiling and playing

You can download the latest release manually by heading over to the Releases and downloading the latest .jar file below. Import the file in the game's mod import menu and reload the game. You can also download the mod remotely using the github link (ItsKirby69/MineDusty)!

For early releases and changes, you can go to the Actions tab at the top to download the zipped Artifact containing the cross-platform compatible jar file.

To compile the mod locally (PC) follow the steps below:

  1. Clone the repository to a safe directory in your PC
  2. Run ./gradlew build which will retrieve needed dependenices and such
  3. Run ./gradlew runGame which will download the client mindustry.jar file into your (WINDOWS) desktop and run the game with the mod loaded.

Note that client installation and running is very experimental and the steps above is for PC Windows compiling, only used for quick development testing.
